London, England 3rd June 2009.

Online Betting company Betfair has reportedly struck a deal with Playtech which will see Betfair licencing playtech casino products for its bingo and casino products. What will become of Betfair’s zero edge casino games is unknown.

“While it is too early to factor in upgrades, this deal reinforces our stance that Playtech’s performance should accelerate into the second half of the year and drive upgrades from 2010,” said analyst Paul Leyland.

Rakeback is not available on the iPoker network, instead players can enrol in a “poker loyalty program“, offering value back to players depending on their playing stakes, volume and habits.

edit: *Update* Betfair Poker has moved to the Ongame Network, and now players can take advantage of the Betfair VIP Program rather than rakeback (which is not permitted on OnGame).
