Merge Skins Confirm: No Rakeback on Merge after 1st June

We just received this email from PokerNordica, one of the poker sites (skins) running on the Merge Poker Nework. They confirm the speculation that new players on the network will not be eligible for rakeback, however players who create accounts before 1st June will be eligible to carry their rakeback deal forward.

Changes – Effective 1st of June 2025:

Merge will no longer allow any rakeback to be offered to ANY new players.
Any players that currently receive rakeback at Poker Nordica will not be affected by this change for now.
Due to a new rule put in place by Merge Gaming where skins are no longer permitted to run their own races and chases, Poker Nordica will no longer run the following races (These will be replaced with new Merge Network Promotions):
$46K VIP Points Chase
$1,000 Raked Hand Race
$1,000 VIP Gold Race
$200 Weekly Race
Poker Nordica will launch it’s brand new 7 tiered VIP Program
